A first-of-its-kind, EZ TechTM eliminates time-consuming and error-prone transfer of data from paper reports in the field. Technicians record and relay information via any tablet device into a central database. Time-stamped reports provide proof positive to public service commissions that survey work has been done.

EZ TechTM allows radical improvement throughout businesses processes associated with pipeline field services and greatly improves efficiency and effectiveness, thereby lowering both cost and risk.

Compliance
Reporting

EZ TechTM is the first software package developed especially for pipeline field compliance reporting. The technology utilizes “store and forward” features allowing technicians to continue working when not in a connected state. Information from any type tablet device can be recorded and relayed to your central database.

The EZ TechTM software package enables utilities to:

  • Digitally record and transmit critical inspection-related data in the field in real time
  • Employ the latest GPS and GIS technology to access electronic records of utility asset locations and to leave an electronic record, including a breadcrumb trail, confirming location
  • Document vital information on utility assets like meters, service lines

Field technicians record and relay information via most any mobile device into a central database. Reports delivering unique user-name, date and time-stamps with GPS position provide proof positive to public service commissions that service work was completed on time.

EZ TechTM enables radical improvement in the entire businesses processes associated with pipeline field services and greatly improves efficiency and effectiveness, thereby lowering both cost and risk.

WORKFORCE
MANAGEMENT

The EZ TechTM system tracks in real-time each movement of a remote worker and transmits specific information to our data center. All data flows into a highly secure and scalable data repository, enabling access on demand via the web. The system alerts quality control in the case of abnormal events, such as incongruent performance ratios or other anomalies.

Aggregated management reports can be accessed 24/7 either in standard templates or via customized reports, and users receive unlimited access to generate reports showing time-stamps, GPS-calibrated location data, and map overlays to trace the path of workers on the job. The system eliminates time-consuming error-prone paper-based entries, so remote workers become far more productive at recording onsite discoveries and analysis.

In addition, fully electronic reporting eliminates discrepancies and inaccurate reporting between departments by displaying a single, editable copy of a document. On the back end, EZ TechTM provides managers unprecedented insights into worker performance and on-the-minute results to better control project workflow.

Other workforce management features include:

  • Automated rules-based scheduling optimization
  • Maps on the device with client layers and asset-specific information
  • Technicians can create work orders in the field
  • Geofencing for safety, alarms, violations
